1) Determine which Merit Badge you would like to complete

2) Obtain a Blue Card and fill out the information on the front

3) Go to the Scoutmaster and ask permission to take a particular Merit Badge.

4) The scoutmaster will sign the Blue Card

5) Enter the Blue card in the Merit Badge Log Book

6) After looking over the requirements, find a Merit Badge Counselor (Link Below)

7) Make appointment with M.B.C. and finish the Merit Badge

8) After the M.B.C. signs the Merit Badge complete return to the Scoutmaster

9) Log the Merit Badge Log book and have Scoutmaster sign that he recieved the Blue Card

10) Blue card is entered into Troopmaster Software and advancement Sheet is filled out and forwarded to Dan Beard Council

11) Recieve Merit Badge at next Troop Meeting

12) Sign Merit Badge Log book that you received the Merit Badge
